About us
A wholesaler in Istanbul that ships to Europe.
East Gate is a beverage and FMCG wholesaler based in Istanbul. We supply importers, wholesalers and HORECA buyers, and most of our volume goes to customers in the European Union.
Our range covers Turkish drinks and food alongside international labels. We supply part of it as an appointed distributor and source the rest on the open market, which is what lets a buyer take a mixed load from one supplier instead of assembling it from several.
The way we work is deliberately simple. You send a list, we come back with one price, and the load leaves Türkiye with the documentation already in order.
How we source
Two ways a case reaches your pallet.
Part of the range we supply as an appointed distributor. That means a direct line to the producer, agreed terms and predictable availability, and it is the half of the business that behaves like a contract.
The rest we buy on the open market: from producers with stock to move, from other traders, from allocations that come free. That is the half that behaves like a market, and it is usually where the price advantage in a given week comes from.
A supplier who only does the first has continuity and a narrow range. One who only does the second has the range and no continuity. Doing both is what lets a single load carry a contracted line and an opportunistic one on the same invoice, and it is why we quote against live availability rather than from a fixed price list.
Who we supply
Where the loads go.
Importers and wholesalers
Buyers who resell into their own market and want a mixed load they can break down themselves.
HORECA suppliers
Distributors serving restaurants, cafes and catering, where Turkish lines sit alongside the international ones.
Diaspora and specialist retail
Shops whose customers ask for the label they know from home, which is the demand most of our Turkish range answers.
How we work
What you can hold us to.
We quote what we can actually supply
Availability moves with the market. If a line is not there we say so on the quotation, rather than confirming it and sorting it out afterwards.
One point of contact
The person who prices your load is the person who answers when you ask where it has got to.
Nothing agreed by implication
Brands, formats, quantities, price and destination are confirmed in writing before an order is an order.
