Markets

The lane from Türkiye into the European Union.

This page is about where we ship and who is involved along the way. How a load is built and what paperwork travels with it is on the export page.

Where we ship

Core markets.

These are the Union markets we work regularly. We can price other Union destinations too; freight and lead time depend on the route, so name the country up front.

  • NL

    Netherlands

  • BE

    Belgium

  • LU

    Luxembourg

  • DE

    Germany

  • FR

    France

  • The rest of the Union

    Priced on request.

The lane

There are two ways a load leaves Türkiye.

Both run inside the customs union and both travel on the same paperwork; the difference is time and cost. Which one suits your load depends on the destination, the urgency and the tonnage, and it is stated on the quotation.

By road, through the Balkans

Out through Thrace to the Bulgarian border, then on into central Europe. One vehicle door to door with no transhipment. How long the queue runs depends on traffic at the crossing.

By Ro-Ro, across the Adriatic

The trailer boards a vessel, lands in Italy and continues by road. It skips the land border queue, and for a load heading to western Europe it is usually the more predictable of the two.

It is not that we pick the route without you. We tell you which option fits, with the price, and the decision is yours.

Who is involved

The hands a load passes through.

  1. Producers and brand owners

The people who make the product. We are an appointed distributor for some of it and buy the rest on the open market; the quotation says which.

  2. Customs brokers

Who runs the export formalities and the movement certificates. Import formalities at the far end belong to the buyer's own broker.

  3. Carriers

Road hauliers and Ro-Ro operators, varying with the size of the load and where it is going.

  4. Buyers

Importers, wholesalers, diaspora retailers and HORECA suppliers. Who you sell to changes how the load is built.
