Fruit juice and nectar from Tokat

Load profile

Category
Juice and fruit drinks
HS heading

Behaviour in a load
Runs out of tonnesLiquid is heavy. These pallets meet the 24 tonne limit before the trailer runs out of floor, so the load closes half height.
Transport condition
AmbientNo cold chain. It travels without a temperature controlled vehicle, alongside everything else in the same trailer.

The brand

Dimes has been pressing fruit in Tokat since the 1950s and is one of the names that defined the modern Turkish juice category. The range runs from standard orange and apple through to the sour cherry and apricot nectars that sit closer to a Turkish palate than a European one.

Why it travels

Sour cherry is the reason this brand travels. It is a flavour European retail barely stocks and Turkish, Balkan and Middle Eastern customers ask for by name, so it does not compete with the juice already on the shelf. It adds a facing rather than replacing one.

In a load

Nectar is heavy per case compared with a dry line, so it prices better inside a mixed load than on its own. Send the flavours and pack sizes and we will check what is currently running.

HS heading

2009
Fruit and vegetable juices

The four-digit tariff heading. The full code turns on the product's own recipe, its sugar content, its dilution and its packing, and it is given in writing on the quotation before an order.

We supply this brand. That is not a claim to an exclusive right over it, and where we act as an appointed distributor we say so on the quotation.

In the same load

What goes beside this pallet.

This line fills a trailer by weight: the tonnage runs out and the floor does not. Filling what is left with light goods is what makes freight you have already paid for do some work. The labels below sit on the other side of the weight line.

This is not a statement of stock. It says the two behave differently in a load; what is actually available is confirmed against your list.
